The latest updates from Infant and Child Development

Infant and Child Development publishes high quality empirical, theoretical and methodological papers addressing psychological development from the antenatal period through to adolescence. We welcome submissions of varying lengths, ranging from brief reports (up to 3000 words) to reports on a sequence of studies (normally up to 8000 words). The journal brings together research on a wide range of topics, including:

  • socio-emotional development
  • cognitive development
  • perceptual development
  • motor development
  • language development
  • atypical development

Papers published by the journal cover laboratory and experimental studies, observational methods, correlational and longitudinal designs, and work with clinical samples, as well as theoretical reviews and analyses.
